Choir Concert Report

There is a concert report due each quarter of the school year where you will attend a vocal music performance. For 2nd and 4th term, Mr. Howden will provide an approved list for you that will include what choral performing ensembles will satisfy this requirement. It will need to be a community/professional concert. This does not include a church meeting, or another high school choir concert. If you attend a choir concert and that choir is not on the list of approved choirs for this assignment during those terms, you will not receive credit, NO EXCEPTIONS. Mr. Howden wants you to hear the very best choirs in the area and that will be reflected in the choirs selected. If there is not a choir on the list and you would like to attend their concert to satisfy this assignment, please ask Mr. Howden if he will approve that concert before you buy tickets. Obviously you must attend the entire concert, Mr. Howden will know if you did not. For 1st and 3rd term, you are able to find a vocal performance of your choosing to attend and write a report on. This can include a musical, an opera, a band performance, or another high school choral concert. Late concert reports will not be accepted.
